Sizing up Baby's 1st Christmas

  

The holiday shopping season is in full swing, and this Grammy got an early start. I hit the stores even before Black Friday hit us. (And I skipped the crowds that day!)

 Like any enthusiastic grandparent with an adorable grandbaby, I was immediately drawn to a display of “My 1^st Christmas” pajamas and other festive outfits. I began clicking through the tiny plastic hangers, looking for just the right size.

 What a disappointment.

 To my dismay, all they had were the 24-month size – in their entire collection of “My 1^st Christmas” apparel.

 That struck me as funny. Just how big are those babies?

An alarming April antic or all-out amusing?

Alas and alack. This image is appropriate for April Fool’s Day, even if it’s altogether inappropriate.

Who hasn’t seen Easter Bunny photos like this? Every generation of now-grown kids probably shudders at childhood memories of sitting on a creepy looking creature with an oversized head and big bucked teeth during the days leading up to Easter.

Can you imagine this guy hopping into your home to drop off a basket of sweets? Didn’t your folks ever tell you not to accept candy from strangers?
