Looks like St. Nick may be a little spaced out. At least, he
was in 1964, when movie audiences clung to the edges of their seats to watch “Santa
Claus Conquers the Martians.”
Gee, maybe Rudolph led Santa’s sleigh a little higher than
usual that year.
This spooky holiday scene offered a bit of extra-terrestrial
excitement. And we have to wonder how many toys and goodies can survive the
anti-gravity pull and the high-heat atmospheric re-entry.
