Zebra-dee-doo-da

Zoo-oo-oom … or not! Gotta admit it: This guy gets extra points for zeal. But I’m pretty sure he’s gonna get zipped right back into the slammer, even if he zigzags.

The guards are gonna spot him three zones away in this zany getup, while he urges his zoo creature to giddy-up. They’ll be zip-tying him with zest, faster than you can say “zippity-well-you-know.”

Score a zillion for the zebra and zero for his pajama-clad passenger.

Saturday

Yelping or yodeling?

Yowie. You’ve gotta see this. (No yawning, please.) Bet a Yorkie can’t do that, even on the Yellow Brick Road. (Yes, I know Toto was not a Yorkie, but a Cairn Terrier – at least, in the movie he was.)

This young pup is yapping right along to the kid’s yearning song. What are they singing, “Yankee Doodle,” “Yesterday,” “Y.M.C.A.”?

Maybe it’s “Yakety-Yak (Don’t Talk Back).”

Just you and me, kid.

Friday

Xceptional Old Bird

This owl isn’t exactly expressive, but he’s excellent and exciting, even if only because he appears to be an extroverted fowl.

Let’s call him Xavier. Or maybe Xerxes.

That top hat looks expensive. Examine it.

Before you exclaim, “Ugh!” and head for the exit, let me explain.

It’s X-Day for the A to Z Blogging Challenge. (That’s a tricky one.)

If you’re a participating blogger, you earn extra points for your exceeding endurance. The initial signup roster is expansive, but the finishers’ list is extremely exclusive. That’s exciting and well worth exclaiming!

Whoo knew?
