OK, this is odd indeed.
Sure, this vintage advertisement is all about odd lots. The merchant probably wanted to offload a pile of mismatched items, including odd sizes and out-of-date apparel.
Maybe the odd pants were outright obsolete.
But it's still delightfully amiss in our observation.
