Randomly risible

Really, I sometimes wonder if anyone is paying attention. Sometimes, the most random things strike me as downright hilarious. A person simply has to pay attention ... to be amused.

Take this college athletic facility, for example. I noticed this during a recent college tour. It was all I could do to keep a straight face in front of our undergraduate tour guide and a group of fellow parents and prospective students.

First, I mean no disrespect. 

This gymnasium, located at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, is dedicated to a well-known and respected wrestling coach and teacher, who served three decades.

Inside the gym is a display of athletic record boards, pictures of All-American athletes, and other sports memorabilia.

Still, look at the sign.

OK, look a little closer.

Family wrestling? Really?

I don't know about your family, but I think ours could use a facility like that.

Or not.

If we boasted such a gym, we might be reported to local authorities.

Raise your hand, if you'd like to have a Family Wrestling Gymnasium. 

Just think, parents. We could send our kids there to sort things out, instead of sending them to their own rooms.
