Valentine’s Day: Freaky 14 Countdown #5 – Get the Point

Sewing enthusiasts may get the notion stir up some emotion with this Valentines Day card, but the message may contain more than it seems, if it’s properly gauged.

This quippy little Valentine is likely intended to have us in stitches over its knotty little pun. We're supposed to think this crafty little urchin is cute, even though she is poking around with a sharp object. Instead, we find ourselves cringing over The Silence of the Lambs nightmare images in our heads.

“It rubs the lotion …” – oh, never mind. Sharp readers are onto this one already. Sometimes a stitch in time saves the Punchline.

Anyway, this seemingly innocent Valentine has us hemming and hawing. ‘Nuff said.
