Valentine’s Day: Freaky 14 Countdown #4 – Frankly, My Dear

The big green monster of jealousy may rear his angry head on Valentine’s Day. Sure, folks may break up, make up, or even simply shake things up on February 14.

Still, this card may frankly be a little scary for such a sentimental occasion. It's a little bit Young Frankenstein.

Does anybody else want to issue a stalker alert or consider a Restraining Order against anyone who might send such a threatening greeting? And what if such a card arrived unsigned? Who wouldn't be tempted to unmask the secret sender?

Would you call The Inquirer over such an admirer?

“It’ll be monstrous.”

What will be monstrous, the Valentine sender or the holiday itself?

Maybe someone simply mixed up the holidays, beckoning October eeriness to carry a trick or a treat into Valentine’s Day. Hey, the confusion is understandable, particularly for candy lovers, who count sweets for all sorts of celebrations.

Still, any Valentine with half a brain would send a heart-shaped tin of Dove chocolates or a giant Hershey's chocolate kiss instead of this bad-boy.

Better stop now. We may have created a Monster here.
