28 Days of Thanks – Biking

I just returned from a wonderful weekend with a fine group of friends. The weather was supposed to be cold and sloppy, but it was beautiful instead. The getaway held tons of highlights, including lots of laughter.

One marvelous moment included my first-ever ride on a tandem bicycle with a fun friend. We took turns piloting and pedaling. And we both remarked how we felt like kids again for a bit.

Yep, sign me thankful.

Note: This vintage photo is from 1910. It’s not us. We were bundled up in weather-worthy garb, but had at least as much fun as the beach babes pictured here.
