Well, it’s about time. Finally, the
Halloween candy is gone. The treat bucket is empty. The caloric confection
contents have been consumed, contributed, or cast into the trash. (OK, there might be a few candy bars tucked away in the freezer, but I can easily forget those are there.)
Having to walk past all those
tempting treats each day was … well … beyond the pale. You see, somebody around
here shops at Costco and buys the stuff in bulk. (And I don’t wanna become any
bulkier!)
But now the bucket is bare. Thank
God.
Sign me thankful – and hopefully,
thinner.
